Where can I buy a car at auction on the web without spending money for membership to the site?

My parents need a car terribly, and I will buy them. I have only $ 3000.

You’d probably do better to just shop around locally and buy from an owner and not a dealer.

ummm… you could try ebay? its free, however some sellers just take your money, look at the seller’s ratings before bidding, if there’s alot of good, and only a few bad (and even if those few bad are something the seller couldn’t help, like damage during shipping), is generally a good seller. But you decide for yourself. Also, up here in my city, there are some really cheap cars, say a good condition running ford tempo for $200? I live in Southern saskatchewan btw.
If you’re anywhere near moose jaw, check out the classifieds on http://www.discovermoosejaw.com and look at all them cheap cars :-)
