You need the brand, the style, the size the speed rating along with a brief description and the condition. Don’t expect to get much from a set of used tires. Even though they may be brand new, gently used. There is no warranty with a used tire and therefore the value of that tire will plummet because they won’t be able to get them repaired or replaced if something goes wrong.

Your ad should read something like this: 4 brand new Bridgestone Potenza 225/65R/16 tires. High Performance blackwall radial. Came off my Pontiac G6. Less than 2000 miles of use.

of course I made all that up but you got the idea.

When you want to sell tires either online or thru a newspaper ad, you should list the size, speed rating and make. The size for example 245/75/16 Speed rating or load rating : E , the make: Goodyear . Then whether it’s a passenger, light truck or truck. passenger tires may fit a small van but it isn’t rated for it, people sometimes buy them because a passenger tire will sometimes be less expensive. As far as light truck or truck tires, the groove pattern is also important. Highway tread, All terrain, All season, Mud & Snow and Off road are all types that will fit trucks but the buyer may want or need a certain type of tread pattern.
